​​I am Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.  Most of all, though, I am a specialist in waste management and all that goes with it.
​
I have had a long and successful career in building plants that produce energy and in the last 22 years have applied that knowledge to how we get the best from the waste we all produce. Entering into waste management in the early 1990s gave me the opportunity to play a major role in moving UK waste disposal out of the landfill and into resource recovery, recycling and a source of energy. Today they call it the Circular Economy.
